I choreograph all of Company SHE’s touring repertoire, CROWN and LAYLI&MAJNUN, our company rep combines contemporary dance with Classical Persian Dance, Contemporary dance and Sufi movement.

I regularly work with theatre companies as a choreographer and Movement Director. I recently choreographed Exeter Northcott’s production of Romeo & Juliet and the Olivier nominated RSC production of ENGLISH. I recently led a dance workshop for Cornwall based, Rogue Theatre, for their upcoming summer production.

I use visualisation, co-creation and text in my choreography practice, regularly collaborating with live musicians and sound designers. My practice is predominantly contemporary dance outside of Company SHE. I specialise in working with professionals and non professionals on joint productions. With the Northcott, I choreographed for the professional cast and youth community ensemble. Company SHE regularly invites community casts to be part of our touring shows.

I started my choreography journey working on theatrical productions in 2019. Having choreographed my own solo work, I developed this further when I started working with NDP Circus. I began collaborating with Paul Liengaard and using the company musicians. This led me to I choreograph all the dance elements of the touring theatre and circus show, Notre Dame de Paris.

In 2021, I was the Dance facilitator and choreographer for an Arts Council funded residential course at Woodchester Mansion. I developed and led ballet, contemporary and folkloric dance workshops.

Previous choreography credits include Mamaan Baba for Salaam Salaam Theatre, SEDA for Zanan Collective at Trinity Laban & Guest Choreographer for Ballet Afsaneh’s Spring 2023 tour.
